Isola Bella is a small island close to Sicily and it is located in the mid of a little bay. The island is known for its warm waters and beautiful plants , and very popular among tourists because of its ‘views‘ of the Ionian Sea. The island can be accessed through a path which connects the mainland, with a cable car, which runs through Taormina to Mazzaro.

Rabbit Island is best described as beautiful and rugged scenery. It used to be home to thousands of rabbits, but not anymore. What you see on the island nowadays is a host of loggerhead turtles. The turtles here are so numerous that the island was converted into a marine reserve to serve as protection for their turtles.

The beach, on the other hand, is a spectacular spot that was once rated the best beach in the world by TripAdvisor in the year 2013.

The island is a bit remote as the mainland is about 100 miles away and that is one of the reasons why the beach here is added to our list.

1 – Gavitella Beach

The Gavitella Beach is located in Praiano, which is a small beautiful town located on the cliffs. The beach is about 30 meters long and quite popular for its view of Capri island.

To get to this clear water beach, you will have to climb down 400-steep steps off the Praiano main square. Once at the beach, you get to enjoy a lot of activities and you can even dive the Fontana dell’Altare, a natural pool not far from Gavitella beach.
