8. Clam Pass Beach Park
This beach is located at a place named after the coastal Italian city. The city might not have the same amount of artwork and history, but it contains a beach that’s pretty impressive. The beach is found at the end of the clam pass county park. Don’t worry it is quite worth the walk to access one of the best beaches in Florida.
To access the beach, you need to walk the 3,000-foot boardwalk and you’ll find it at the end. The beach has beautiful white sand and picnic areas to enjoy. You can rent a canoe or kayak to explore the park even further. Don’t worry entry to the park is free.

You all might want to check out Pompano Beach just north of Ft. Lauderdale Beach. CRA just spent $50 million to upgrade the beachfront and in 3 years time over 2+million people have stopped by. The CRA is currently managing another$30+ million in new restaurants, a new pier, bars, hotels, burger shops, water features 1,500 spaces in 2 new parking decks.

I’ll probably sound like a snob, but when I think of state beaches, I don’t have a high opinion. That’s certainly not the case with Caladesi Island State Park Beach! That’s not just one of the cleanest beaches in Florida, it’s one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen. It reminds me of a private island I visited in the Caribbean. Gorgeous!

Sam, I remember when you never really knew until you got to your destination (unless you had a concierge or knew someone who lived nearby). I’d say you have several options. Check with travel sites like Trip Advisor, go to Reddit forums, and call the local travel bureau. Most cities have travel bureaus and they should be able to tell you all the information you need.

So many beaches! I wouldn’t know where to begin when it comes to Florida beaches. That’s why I’m glad you guys review the cleanest Florida beaches so I know which ones are good to go to. Saves a lot of guesswork. Is there any way to see which beaches give military discounts if there are admission fees? My parents might be going to Florida and I’m checking for them.

Hey Morgan. Florida’s state park website has an exhaustive list of every state park’s fees as well as discounts. From what I can tell, Florida National Guard members receive a 50% discount. Check the site out for more: https://www.floridastateparks.org/fees You can go there and find out everything you’re looking for once you know which state beaches you want to visit.

Siesta Key Beach caught my eye. If I’m bringing my family, I want the cleanest beach in Florida and I want something where the kids can swim (as opposed to surfing). Some beaches are gorgeous and clean, but the water’s a bit too choppy. Siesta Key sounds like the place to be!

When someone tells me they’re going to Florida to go hang out at the beach I ask them where they’re going and they usually have no idea. I don’t think people realize how many beaches there are in the Sunshine State which is why this site is helpful. Captiva Island Beach looks like my destination. I was looking through this site for the cleanest beaches in Florida because let’s be honest, some beaches are disgusting.
